We currently have Golden Buff egg layers.  The term “free range” is often used for chickens which are not kept in cages but are still confined to a building.  Our chickens are let out of the building during the day, giving them a chance to peck in the grass for insects, worms, and other things that chickens like to eat.  We also give them a certified organic layer mash supplemented with produce from our garden.  The eggs vary in color from light brown to dark brown.  Our egg prices are: medium, $3.75; large, $4.50; extra large, $5; jumbo, $5.50.
